Cold pressed oils are traditionally extracted edible oils in long cylindrical wooden ghani. This is the simplest and ancient method of oil extraction in kachi ghani. The oils are unrefined with single filtration. Edible oils extracted in cold pressed oils are pure, healthy with better flavor and add more taste. Cold pressed oils are healthier than refined oils as there is no heat produced during oil extraction.

May it be Ground Nut, Coconut, Sesame, Safflower or Sunflower, the seed is crushed in slow speed to extract the oil. Less pressure is used in crushing the seed and hence very less heat is generated during the process unlike refined oils where the heat generated will be up to 200°C. Slow crushing of the seeds helps in retaining the nutrients, flavor and aroma. No chemicals will be added during extraction of oils.

Cold pressed oils are rich in antioxidants, rich in omega 3 acids and vitamin e.

Good quality seed is used and as less oil is produced, comparatively the price is higher than refined oils. But considering the health and oil is main ingredient in daily cooking, choosing oil can't be compromised.
